Feature Request and Suggestion

Mon Sep 13, 2010 7:07 am

I have Splash Pro , and like it .
One thing I have found to be very annoying , and should be easy to rectify , is to have an option in Settings to associate video types with Splash Pro , as default . This is asked at installation time , but afterwards , I have not found anything .
A selling point I think you could utilize , is that I have found Splash to be probably the least resource requiring of all the video players . I have a HP laptop , Vista32, Intel 1.8GHz, Intel 965 intergrated graphics , and I succeed to play most things OK . Some ts2 videos are very choppy , and sometimes I must neutralize the "picture quality" options ( like Splash Lite ) . So , I'm sure there are a lot of users out there like me , who'd like to play HD movies . Splash may be their best alternative .

It would be nice! Plus let me set associations by command line, for example:
splashpro.exe /regvid

Joc
Home Theater:
Silverstone GD01 | nVidia GTX 460 | Asus Xonar HDAV 1.3
Epson EH-TW3600 (aka. 8350) | 100" DIY screen
Marantz SR8001 THX Select2 surround receiver
Polkaudio speakers: RTi 10 | CSi 5 | FXi 5 | PSW 505
Synology NAS 1010+ | 9TB HDD

Return to “Splash PRO”
