A few important features are still missing.

Hi folks,
I'm a big fan of Splash PRO, but there are still some small features that are missing. The one is playback speed, and the other is smart stretch 16:9-> 4:3. Hope they could be added somewhere in the feature versions.

Smart stretch is a feature that adjusts the portions of the picture, removing black lines on top and bottom.

Hopefully they'll add in the short-cut menu, so we can switch between multiple AR on the fly

I would rather see Smart Stretch 4:3 -> 16:9

Smart-stretch destroys pixel definition and it distorts the image. It's better to crop

It's not better to crop because you loose portions from the picture. CyberLink PowerDVD stretches the picture without distorting it and it does not destroy anything.

You mean with a smart distorting. If you want to know more about it, here is a link:

The majority of videos and compressed photos are essentially bitmap. So scaling/resizing will immediately result in lose of definition.
For an example, if you screen-print this page and resize it even by 1%, you'll notice that all the fine details have been lost.

That's not really true since smart algorithms will scale unfocused objects/background, while leaving focused objects intact.
