Just bought Splash PRO: multiple windows possible?

Just bought Splash PRO, after being very convinced by the excellent Splash Lite and the irresistable Splash Pro EXPORT offer, which I am anxious to get working to Canon Powershot SX1 IS videos which are really huge and need compression.

For Splash PRO, just wondering if there is/will be an option to view multiple videos at the same time?

This is easy with Windows Media Player - Home Cinema, just by starting separate instances, hopefully Splash PRO can/will do it too?

Thanks,

Because the developers seek to obtain maximum performance, they limited the application to use only one process at a time. It's answered a few topics behind.

At the moment there is no option in Splash PRO settings to run multiple instances of Splash PRO.

However... you may go to Splash PRO folder (C:\Program Files\Mirillis\Splash PRO) copy SplashPRO.exe and rename it as SplashPro_2.exe in example. Create additional shortcuts to this new exe and then you will be able to run 2 instances of Splash PRO. Not much elegant workaround but repeating this I can play smoothly 4-5 1080p videos at the time.

Thanks for that great idea, I am able to view two instances smoothly of my 42 Mbps 1080p MOV files from our camera. When I try a third video, it slows down too much.

However Media Player Classic - Home Cinema still has some advantages, like:
- each window shows the video name in the task bar
- the "tile windows horizontally" function in the WinXP taskbar works properly (whereas the Splash PRO window sizes are not adjusted at all - same for "tile windows vertically"

so I will be happy if Splash PRO can do the same (eventually I hope).
