Hello, my system satisfy this requirements:
AUDIO BITSTREAMING
S/PDIF or HDMI output is required
for audio bitstreaming.

HDMI 1.3 compatible output and
Windows 7 is required for HD audio
bitstreaming.

I can select hd tracks but no hd audio is output, just core sd audio

Maybe your hdmi device doesn't recognize AC3/DTS codecs natively. Use stereo in this situation.

Guys, please check the latest 1.3.0 version as it contains some improvements for HDMI audio bitstream with ATI 5xxxx cards.

Catalyst 10.10 drivers (including hotfix 10.10c) using HDMI Audio driver from ATI results in no sound with Splash PRO 1.3.0 when trying to play Dolby TrueHD.

Also, I still cannot play DTS-MA through Splash PRO, only DTS.

Does the problem with TrueHD repeat for all files?
Do you repeat a problem with various containers (mkv, m2ts...)?

We have the very same setup here (Win7 + ATI5850) and we can successfully bitstream TrueHD audio with HDMI output.
There can be problems with DTS-MA audio and if we detect problems we try to bitstream core DTS audio then.

Thanks for the reply ghost.

I will try to put my TrueHD source in an m2ts container and see if that works and report back.
As far as the DTS-MA issue, is there a reason it always reverts to DTS whenever I play something? Could that be a container issue as well?

Leaving the container as M2TS fixed the problem. I can now play TrueHD!

Now about that DTS MA :)

Hi, i'm sorry for my english but i don't speak english
Seven is necessary for audio HD, ok, but also hdmi audio output for the normal 5.1 ac3/dts?
I ave installed splash pro trial on my pc: winxp 32 (In the future i install seven64) vga amd 5770 connected to the denon avr2310 with hdmi )

I try a file test audio 5.1 .avi ( test signal for each individual case, useful to see if 5.1 works well ).
In setting/audio, if i select 5.1, audio is ok for all 5.1.
But if i select hdmi bitstream, the sound is bad:
The audio center speaker comes out from two fronts speaker
The sound of the 2 front speakers is ok
The rear speakers and sub are mute

Why? I should not select hdmi audio?

I answer by myself: I installed seven64 and now HDMI output works correctly ;)

1-Where can I find an audio file to test audio hd? ( dolby true e dts hd )
2- If i buy splash pro, how long does the license? I will be able to update the program forever?
