Help Please-No 5.1 Sound

Sun Oct 03, 2010 5:44 pm

How do you get the 5.1 sound to work right? I've got no sub, no surrounds and the audio I do get sounds like a transistor radio.
The audio works fine with WMP, VLC, GOM, KMPlayer, Winamp, and BSPlayer, so It's not a hardware problem.
I've tried every sound setting in Splash Pro, but I've got this awesome picture with really crappy sound.

Most people with high performance computers have an X-fi .The audio gear hooked to my computer is home stereo quality equipment, not the normal computer speaker system. You would think sound quality would be a priority in a viewer designed to be the best. I'm still using WMP for movies or music videos just because of the poor sound. Sux.
