Picture 2 issue

Picture2 isn't working well on new generation video cards that have power management enabled. When Picture2 is activated, the card clocks constantly change from 3rd to 4th state causing little annoying stutters. Like for a few moments ( 40-50 ms ) the movie is in slow motion. I verified this with MSI Afterburner, because I didn't know why my movies play in slow motion over certain areas with P2 enabled and with MPC-HC play just fine.

nVIDIA ForceWare Clocks
Level #1 GPU: 50 MHz, Shader: 101 MHz, Memory: 135 MHz
Level #2 GPU: 405 MHz, Shader: 810 MHz, Memory: 324 MHz
Level #3 GPU: 405 MHz, Shader: 810 MHz, Memory: 1674 MHz
Level #4 GPU: 607 MHz, Shader: 1215 MHz, Memory: 1674 MHz

I hope you're not going to ignore this. Because of this problem I reverted back to MPC-HC.

You can tweak this using Nvidia System tools to trigger a fixed GPU clock when launching the splash exe.

Yeah, but why do this, when a fix can be done for the player, so it will run smooth on every pc ? Why should the user be forced to install 3rd party software just to use a movie player ?
