Playing AVIs (more specific, XviD) is broken. Splash plays with about half a framerate. Newest ffdshow installed. I tried also with a few months older version, same thing.

Splash PRO plays all avi files with just the default Xvid codecs in Windows 7 X64 Ultimate. You don't need any ffdshow.

Why is everybody so focused on the resume function? Do you all watch movies in 3 days or something like that?

I never used this feature... I can watch all three LotR movies in one seat. :)
On the other hand it is a very simple feature. You have to make some registry keys with filenames and positions...
Maybe it is important for someone.
Home Theater:
Silverstone GD01 | nVidia GTX 460 | Asus Xonar HDAV 1.3
Epson EH-TW3600 (aka. 8350) | 100" DIY screen
Marantz SR8001 THX Select2 surround receiver
Polkaudio speakers: RTi 10 | CSi 5 | FXi 5 | PSW 505
Synology NAS 1010+ | 9TB HDD

Yes, this is very important! Resume function absent is only one reason, why SplashPro don't main and only one player on my PC. Can't understand one thing, is this very hard to do resume functionality for SplashPro or just is Mirillis main concept: no resume function? One more time, only one reason why SplashPro do not one and main player on my PC.

I have such feature on ipod and it can't be turned off - and I hate it :) Also have such feature on PMP - and it turned off.
E.g. I have lot of music videos that I rewatch regulary - and if player remembers last position for each of them - it's really annoying when starting one of them - and player starts playback form nearly end, then same thing for next and so on...

I just can't understand how is it possible to watch movie by parts - when breaks are so huge, that player is closed or even PC turned off.
Desktop (Intel i7-970, ATI 5870, Windows 7 x64)
Acer Aspire TimelineX 3830TG (Intel i5-2410M, nVidia GT540M, Windows 7 x64)
PS Vita, Nokia N8

If you do not understand is not mean what resume feature don't needed.
