I'm interested in Splash PRO and Motion2 feature. I would like to know, how are the real system requirements for a fluid motion in high bitrate m2ts (BD) and mkv files in 1080p.

With my config (Win Vista, AMD 4850e (2.4 Dual), integrated HD3200), I view choopy 720p files, and I would like to know if an ATI 5450 and/or AMD Athlon/Phenom Quad or Dual (what Ghz.) are sufficient for smooth playback and HD audio. Real experiences are the better.

I have Phenom II 555 BE @ 3.9GHz + GeForce 210 and everything works smoothly (Win 7 x64).

Any other experience? Quad vs dual? Any admin report or processor comparison for frame interpolation?

i use an core i5 430M mobile cpu and Picture 2 at 10 setting eats 40% of total CPU resources.

icsterm - what video bitrate is this with ( when you click on I-information on lower left of window ) ?

It's sufficient with Athlon II X3 Triple Core or Athlon II X4 Quad Core vs Phenom II 555 Dual Core with Motion2 to 10, for example?

There would be sufficient with ATI 5450 Radeon when Motion2 is implemented for GPU?

It depends if you play 720p or 1080p. For 720p any desktop Core 2 Duo CPU should work (AMD also, but you need higher clock rates). For 1080p you need a much faster dual core for smooth playback (quad core recommended).

Any AMD x3 or x4 CPU should work fine because Splash PRO is multi-core optimized.

Like I said, on my pc everything works smoothly (720p/1080p) with Picture2 ON.
