hate to be a turd, however have you guys tried Splayer?
I also purchased SplashPRo, however I like to keep my media player options open as it seems that one player never suits all my needs:
Splayer is pretty darn cool. check it out

My favorite is the PotPlayer (former KMPlayer). But the best picture quality is comes from Splash Pro!

i always feel obligated to use Splash Pro because I paid for it so I want to use it. For MKV's nothing surpasses it. I still rely on on VLC from time to time only for ISO playback as Splash nor does Splayer handle these file ext. I only use ISO's for compilation DVDs im too lazy to convert over. All my films etc, if not from a BR source are in an .avi container, otherwise if they are from a BR source they are always in MKV.
Does anyone know if messing around with the EconoMode in splash makes it capable to at least play 720 files on a netbook?
