Detail Boost without Motion2?

Is it possible to turn on the Detail Boost feature without affecting the framerate of playback? I like the Detail Boost feature, but I want to keep the original framerate of the film I'm watching. Also, it would be great if these options could be specified at the command line (so I could use different settings for different file types, e.g. could turn on Detail Boost for DVD rips (.mpg/.vob) but turn it off for BluRay rips (.m2ts). Thanks!

of course, you can enable Detail Boost without enabling Motion2. just uncheck the Motion2 box and check the Detail Boost box.

Then why is it that if I uncheck the Motion2 box, the Detail Boost box is no longer checkable?

i tried playing the file types you've mentioned (vob and m2ts) but on my end i can turn on/off Detail Boost and Motion2 independently from each other. i don't know if your problem is platform specific, i'm running windows 7 and splash pro and i have no problem turning on/off these settings. try changing the settings while playing the movie, not while being paused.
