Bugs and requests for Splash PRO 1.4.0 :
Not support LPCM audio in mkv and DVD-video files (noise). (Win7) !!!
Not support pgs subtitles in mkv.
Not support chapter in mkv.
Not support name track in mkv (support only track language). !!!
Not support 4.0 audio-configuration (quadro)!!!
Not support DTS-HDMA and TrueHD decoding.
Incorrectly decodes 3.1 audiotracks for stereo audio-configuration (without center chanell).

And now about the good:
Best video and audio quality among all players .Especially perfectly well for me as audiophile quality of audio - the best player for Flac! Awesome player!

Thanks all for your problems reporting and suggestions!

1. To be able to add multiple files at once in the playlist when you press Add File.
2. To be able to load a whole folder to the playlist. To drag and drop the folder in the playlist screen and the video files contained to show there.
3. To be able to load multiple folders to the playlist.
4. A kill switch for times when the player crashes. It does not shutdown completely and the video card can't go back to 2D clocks because it is still in use by the player.
5. For the player to permit screensaver and monitor shutdown when it is running but the film is on pause.

1. It is already supported, when you press "+" button on playlist. There is multi selection available.
2. It is also supported, but it does not include files in subfolders. Do you mean taht you want all files (also in subfolders) to be added to a playlist?

I looked in the manual but there still is no way to manually set the subtitle sync. So you always have to enter the menu, make a change and return to see the result, that really doesn't work. Is there no keyboard shortcut to achieve this?

At the moment no shortcut for this function but it will be added soon.

it looks rly great, but can u pls add feature which can save movie position when u exit splash, like MPC home cinema, vlc player etc have already? I think this is must have feature.

It is supported through a playlists. All movies on playlists save movie position and you can resume a playback later with a special button on a playlist. Automatic movie playback resume will be also added soon.

a two options to add:
1. Ability to exit splash after movie is finish or playlist finish.
2. Shutdown puter after movie is finish or playlist finish.
3. An osx version with acceleration on at least on GF8600GT

1. Shutting down, hibernating etc after finished playback is planned to be added in future versions of Splash,
but at the moment we do not know if it will be added in free updates or in next 2.x.x version of Splash PRO.
2. If you mean a Mac version. It is planned to be released but it is delayed and we do not know when it will be available.

It would also be nice to be able to turn off the repeat function in the playlist. After a playlist finishes, it should not start all over again.

New bug in Splash 1.4.0, i can't disable "Force Video Overlay".

Does it happen on Windows 7 and 9800GT? PLease try running Splash PRO Cleanstart from Splash PRO installation folder, please note it will reset your Splash settings.

At the moment this is done by design. External/internal subtitles managing will be improved in future versions.

Please check if it repeats for all audio codecs (ac3, mp3, dts, lpcm etc) or only for a one specific codec.

PGS and chapters are not supported yet in mkv files. PGS should be soon added.
We will check out ssues with LPCM audio and 4.0 and 3.1 audio.

Software decoding of HD audio codecs is not planned to be added in this version of Splash PRO.

I expressed that feature request a bit wrong. I was talking about selecting more folders and add them to the playlist with drag and drop. If you select one folder it adds the contents to the playlist, but if you select 2 folders it doesn't. And a subfolder feature would be nice too.
