Hi there, i will first goin' to say that Splash PRO is not just great, it is the best player i've ever tried, specially the Motion2 feature, which is great to watch Full HD movies. BUT! here is the thing: i can't watch the movies (any format a tried: mpg, avi, wmv, mkv) with subtitles, because when i load them the video starts disappearing (it goes to black) when the subs appear in the screen. To explain it, it shows just one thing: the video or the subtitles.

I tried turning off Aero Theme, hardware acceleration, but the problem remains. I don't know anything about codecs and stuff (I guess it's a codec problem because i didn't find any topic with this problem).

The only solution i found is to activate "Overlay video", but when i start playing the theme changes to "Windows Basic" and it alters the colour configuration, and that is really annoying.

My PC: AMD Phenom II x4 945 3.0 GHz - Sapphire HD5770 DirectX 11 1 Gb - DDR3 1333 MHz 4 Gb Dual channel - Windows 7 x64.

Disable Antialiasing in catalyst control center.

Thanks for the answer, but the problem remains.

I finally get it working. I did a clean up and reinstalled all the codecs without directvobsub.
