since 2 weeks ago, i can not play any mp4 videos whit splash pro ex by double clicking on them. It says "the parameter its not correct"
But if I move the icon on the program, the video starts

It's a known issues and luckily we have an easy solution to fix this.

Use attached .reg files to fix "the parameter its not correct" issue. After downloading unzip the file and double click on your version .reg (in your case Splash PRO EX .reg file). Everything should be fine by now.

regrettably, the issue still
after download the .reg file for my version, i doubleclicked on it, the pc asked me if i really want to put this info in the register, i said yes, reboot the pc, and the problem persist.

i´m so grateful that you answer me quickly, and i hope we can solve this situation, and help more people with my problem

the win7 taskbar and the dock are just a mod, but i have winxp ñ.ñ

Try to make it like this:

the file still not working but...... i already fixed the problem.... in the registry editor (start > execute > regedit), in the place marked by P.J. (thanks) i´ve erased every splash´s folders (obviusly I uninstalled it before) n restarted my pc, later but before reinstall, put the windows media player like default mp4´s player (and other formats player), or another program in matroska files, and reinstall it.

Now the program works, but dont feel sad, you helped me so much, i did not have notice of that folder in registry editor, ccleaner does not clean that folder so the program lets the problem when i try to reinstall it

i hope I can help with this to the people that have this issue or another similar to this
