no video thumbnails

After uninstalling splash pro ex v1.7.1 windows explorer don't show any thumbnail for video files though it shows for other files like picture and audio files. i've checked the show thumbnails option, changed views but of no avail. I've reinstalled splash but the problem persists. Plz help.

Had this problem started just immediately after uninstalling Splash or some time after this operation?
Splash itself does not interfer with Windows associations or thumbnails.
It is all done by Microsoft Windows Installer or through Windows associations manager.
This is probably some Windows problem, we will try to investigate the problem and keep this thread updated.
