I have a Splash PRO EX and i installed Windows 8 yesterday. Everything went good, and i really liked this windows but i had a problem with Splash. When i load subtitles in it, it has black background. I think it creates 2 layers to do that. I tried to catch a snapshot with PrintScreen but there is no video in snapshot, and i downloaded Fraps and tried it and this time i get no subtitles. OMG!?! BTW i dont have problem on other player such as SPlayer, MPC, Gom Player and even Media Player.
I tried everything, installed drivers unintalled drivers, installing other versions of drivers, motion and othe options off and on, subtitle options, Gpu decoding on off etc ...

I have the same problem. No idea what to do...

I'd suggest you wait for W8 to be a finished product...

Now Windows 8 is the final version, I think you should remove this problem. Now there's no excuse (not finished) ! The more you delay the more customers you lose!

Windows 8 has reached the RTM and i have installed the latest version 1.13.0, but still the problem exists....

Try disable "Force video overlay" in video setings.

I try 1.12.1 in win8 preview but this options was disabled now with 1.13 maybe it work.
