How can I define how long a recording should be before Action! automatically stop recording?

Use the "duration" option that can be found in the main tab at the bottom.

To set a recording duration for Action! to automatically stop, you’ll want to adjust the settings in the software. Open Action! and go to the "Recording" tab. Look for an option related to "Auto Stop" or "Stop Recording After." Here, you can specify the exact length of time you want the recording to last. This way, Action! will automatically end the recording once it reaches the duration you've set, so you don't have to manually stop it every time.
