How can I define how long a recording should be before Action! automatically stop recording?

Use the "duration" option that can be found in the main tab at the bottom.

To set a recording duration for Action! to automatically stop, you’ll want to adjust the settings in the software. Open Action! and go to the "Recording" tab.
