Hangs while recording

I run Action 1.16.3.0 on a Win7 64-bit machine and have run into a problem where a screen recording runs for 20-30 minutes then stops dead. There is no evidence of buffering in progress simply a frozen picture on screen ... i think i'm correct in saying this has only started happening since i upgraded to this version ...
