Action! recorded a tiny portion and shut off

Sun Sep 28, 2014 7:58 pm

I recently purchased Action! and have been using it to record a play-through of SWTOR. So far, everything has worked pretty well, no errors, etc. Yesterday, however, one of my sessions (which I record in 30 minute intervals) produced a file with 2 seconds of audio and 47 seconds of choppy video before it closed down.

During the thirty minutes of play, action's frame rate meter was red, as if was recording the entire time. This is the only time it has done this, but it is really disheartening to lose a bunch of footage. Are there any known causes to what I'm describing?

I record in MP4 mode at 720p video size, and 60 fps. My PC specs are: intel(r) core(tm) i5-34505 cpu @ 2.80ghz, Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, GeForce GTX 550 Ti.

The majority of my recordings have been nearly perfect.

Did you recently installed any new drivers, windows updates or third party applications that could affect your computer performance?

No. No changes have been made to my computer. most of the recordings I made with Action! worked perfectly fine. I just don't understand why one of them behaved as I described above.
