Reuse code

Hello,
2 days ago I have bought and SSD. And obviously I decided to format my old HDD and install new system on SSD which is Win 10 Pro 64 Bit. I want to reuse my old code which I got from my friend. I haven't done it yet because I'm afraid that code can be dedected as already used. So here is my question. I new to get new code or I can use old one without any problems?
