Sound Issue

The longer i record the more the sound is out of sync, for instance............. the sound is in perfect sync to start but after about 2 minutes the sound starts to go out of sync by about 2 seconds after 10 mins of recording the sound is about 30 seconds out of sync, so on and so forth.
I cant even edit the sound because it makes other parts out of sync.. very annoying to say the least!!!
