Mirillis: the company

Fri Dec 18, 2009 7:13 pm

I want to ask you a bit about yourselves :)

'Who' is Mirillis?

Where is your headquarter?

How many employees you have?

...and so on. Because here is this player no one heard before (okay, maybe as Oxygen Player), coming out of 'nowhere', yet capable of playing HD videos, with some special capabilities like multi-core support and GPU acceleration, making it on pair with the biggest players (except settings, an MPlayer or a KMPlayer for example is much more flexible, yet both fail with some HD videos, and don't use the GPU).

Does that mean that you want to release a HW player also like WDTV?

for a company I never heard of before. you guys have grown quite large fan base already. I've gotten my school and all my friends to use splash lite because of how well it makes things look and how easy it works.

At the moment we are focusing on software only (for Windows and Mac OS).
By minimising power consumption we mean our care for low CPU usage, hardware accelerated video decoding and EcoMode dedicated for optimal mobile PC batteries usage.
