Action wont save my settings

So I can't install it on another drive. I need to have the recordings go to my mechanical drive but it always defaults to the main drive. I have to set these settings up every time I run the software and do a recording. Is this normal or is something else going on?

Any tips or knowledge you could share with me on this would be greatly appreciated.

Does the drive you use to save videos is internal or external?

I'm using an internal drive. A similar incident occurred. I have to configure these options every time I start the app.
