Thus, I am unable to install it on an alternate disc. It keeps selecting the main drive even though I specifically asked for it to use my mechanical drive for recording. For each recording that I make, I need to go into the preferences and adjust these parameters. Does this seem typical, or is anything else happening?

If you have any insight or advice to provide regarding this, I would be eternally grateful.
