Issue Connecting Twitch Account in Mirillis Action

Hi everyone,

I’m having trouble connecting my Twitch account to Mirillis Action. Although I can log into Twitch via browser without issues, Action’s Accounts Manager won’t complete the login and keeps showing me as “not connected.”

YouTube streaming works fine.

I’ve updated to the latest version, reinstalled the software, and double-checked my network—no change.

I also tried re-adding the account and checking for firewall/antivirus conflicts.

Has anyone else faced this with Twitch integration? Is there a known fix, or should I use the manual stream key as a workaround?

Many thanks for considering my request.

A common issue right now with Mirillis Action — Twitch changed parts of its authentication/API, and older (and even recent) Action builds often fail to complete the OAuth login, leaving the account stuck on “not connected.

I’ve seen a couple of people run into this with Action and Twitch specifically, so you’re definitely not alone. From what I understand, it’s often an OAuth/authorization issue on Twitch’s side rather than anything you’re doing wrong, especially since YouTube works fine. Using the manual stream key is a solid workaround and tends to be more reliable anyway. If you want the account linking to work properly, it might be worth opening a ticket with Mirillis support, as they sometimes need to update their Twitch integration when Twitch changes something.

Hi, I’ve had the same issue with Twitch in Mirillis Action. Even though browser login works, the Accounts Manager sometimes fails due to OAuth or cached data. I’d suggest removing the Twitch account from Action, restarting the software, and trying again. Running Action as administrator can also help. If it still doesn’t connect, using your Twitch stream key manually works perfectly as a reliable workaround.

Hello, the issue of not being able to connect Twitch with Mirillis Action despite trying multiple solutions (updating, reinstalling, firewall settings, network checks) may be due to changes in Twitch’s API or a temporary cache/configuration error in Action. I recommend using a manual Stream Key as an immediate workaround and checking Mirillis Action’s support channels or the Twitch community to see if others are experiencing the same issue and whether a fix is available, as this type of problem is common with third-party integrations.

Below are the troubleshooting steps and temporary solutions I suggest:
  • Use a manual Stream Key (Recommended):

Go to Twitch > Creator Dashboard > Settings > Stream.

    Copy your Primary Stream Key.

In Mirillis Action, open the Stream tab, select Twitch, and choose the “Manual” or “Stream Key” option to paste the key, bypassing account login.
Hope this helps!

Some users have reported that Twitch login issues in Mirillis Action can sometimes be caused by two-factor authentication settings. Disabling browser-based login prompts and using the manual stream key for Twitch can serve as a reliable workaround if the Accounts Manager fails.

Hopefully this gets fixed in a future update, as it seems to be a Twitch integration issue rather than a local setup problem.

Hi,
I’ve run into the same issue with Twitch and Action before. What worked for me was switching to the manual stream key instead of account linking. It’s not ideal, but it’s stable and avoids the auth problem entirely. Since YouTube works fine for you, that also points to a Twitch-specific integration issue rather than your setup.

Since you’ve already updated, reinstalled, and checked network and firewall settings, it might be an issue on Action’s side with Twitch integration. Using a manual stream key for Twitch is a reliable workaround in the meantime, and you could also check if Mirillis has any beta updates or support notes addressing Twitch login issues

I’ve run into this before, and using the manual Twitch stream key in Action usually works reliably while waiting for Mirillis to fix the account-manager login integration bug.
