Overband Abandoned?

Hi everyone, I've been using Mirillis since July 2015 because I find it excellent in terms of quality and simplicity. I'm the official Spanish translator and I've recommended it on my networks for its robustness and reliability compared to the weak alternatives available at the time. There was no such thing as the pathetic OBS or Streamlabs back then, and the rise of live streaming was increasing the demand for this type of software.

When they announced something more professional, I was very active in following its development, particularly its approach to more experienced users and even enterprise clients. I thought Mirillis could compete in the broadcasting market with Wirecast, vMix, and Blackmagic ATEM Software Control.

However, since its announcement many years ago, Overband has been taking far too long to arrive, leading to doubts about its release. Perhaps it's been abandoned? There's no news, progress updates, early access, or beta versions to maintain interest.

I hope I'm wrong, but is there light at the end of the tunnel? Best regards.

I understand your concerns. The long silence is frustrating, especially after such a promising announcement. Hopefully the team will share an official update soon to clarify whether development is still ongoing or not.

At this point, I think most long-time users just want clarity. Even a brief status update would help restore confidence and show that the project hasn’t been forgotten.

Hope we get some news soon.
Best regards.
