Can I Use On More Than One PC?

Wed Jun 27, 2012 11:23 pm

I own a license for Action! and just activated it on my desktop. Would I be allowed to use the same key to activate Action on my laptop as well?

Single license only allows you to use Action! on one computer. Here's a quote from the EULA.
2. LICENSE, SOFTWARE USE AND DISTRIBUTION
2.2.1 Single License
You may install, activate and use only one copy of the Software on a single computer at a time.
You may not run Software on two or more computers at the same time using the same serial
number.
You must uninstall the Software before installing, activating and using it on another computer.

That is not cleaver. Mirillis should make an option to de-activate the software on the computer you don't want to use for now so the user can activate the key on the other system and vice versa.

Thanks for answer my question in detail guys. Looks like I'll be setting aside some extra money next month and getting another copy or two so I can have it on my various gaming and work machines. At least you guys offer a bundle deal vs. FRAPS who doesn't.

I played around with Action a bit yesterday and I noticed something:

When I record, the FPS counter (in blue on the HUD) changes to red and shows the FPS I'm recording at. Any way to have it continue showing my current game FPS? The average FPS in the small gray is almost useless to me without the current frames per second display.

Yeah the "Average" fps display is a nuance and I advised Mirillis to scrap it but they didn't listen. It takes up space too. Plus none of their competitors use this. Not well thought of at all.

I get that but how do I get it to keep displaying my current fps in game while I am recording?
