Hello to you all,
I've just purchased a registration license for Action! 1.6.1.0. It records beautifully, both my entire screen, as well as a defined region.
There is only one problem, I cannot get the MOUSE to show up in the recording.
I am on Windows 7, 64 bit.
Under the Video Recording tab I have:
Record Mode: Active Desktop
Video Size: 720
Video Framerate: 24
Duration: unchecked
Use Perfect Video Match Mode: CHECKED
Record System Sounds: CHECKED
Allow multi-channel audio: CHECKED
Microphone: Do Not Record
Under the General Settings Tab I have:
- General Settings Sub-Tab
Language: English
App Window Always on top: unchecked
Check For Updates: CHECKED
Start App Minimized to tray: unchecked
Hide Action! window on desktop recording start: CHECKED
- Recording Settings Sub-Tab
Video Quality: Normal
Input Range: 0 - 255
Use Multicore recording: unchecked
Record Mouse Cursor: CHECKED
Visual Mouse Clicks: unchecked
- Export Settings Sub-Tab
Use Hardware accelerator for video encoding: THIS CHECKBOX IS NOT ENABLED, I CANNOT ACCESS.
Export Mouse Cursor: CHECKED
Can anyone point me toward the correct settings so that the mouse cursor appears in the videos I create?
Much thanks.
HM
EDIT:
Thanks to the Mirillis team for their help. To solve this two things were required:
1. I had to update Action! to version 1.9.2.
2. I had to uncheck Perfect Video Match under the Video Recordings tab.
The mouse cursor now appears in both Active Windows and Region videos.
Thanks again, Mirillis Team.
