SLI Recording

Sat Sep 08, 2012 4:59 am

Hi, i was trying to record some 3D mark 11 videos :P and noticed that when im recording, the GPU usage goes to 50-60% on each card instead of 100% (97-99%) this only happens when Action! is recording, and when i stop, the GPU usage go back to 100% on each card.

ill post some screenshots, so you can understand me better.

With Action! recording.

And no recording.

and the resulting video its slow and choppy.

i hope you can understand my bad english, Thanks a lot!

Is the MSI Afterburner running when you are recording and the resulted video is slow and choppy? Could you send us a sample of your video? We can provide an ftp server for larger files.

Hi again, i uploaded some videos to my own server, this only happens with 3Dmark11. Heaven benchmark and Nvidia demos works fine.

it works a bit better in Active Desktop mode, take a look. (save target as....)

3Dmark11: Games and apps mode.

3Dmark11: Active Desktop mode.

Bonus: Fallout: New Vegas (1080p/60fps)

My full system specs.

My Action! version: 1.10.0.0

i love Mirillis Action! program, thanks a lot! ;)
