Action! Crashes

So I've been using Action for the last few months and I LOVE it, but sadly it won't record anything now. It only takes screenshots, it won't record gameplay or audio or it just crashes. I know it's not the new update that is causing this because I've been using the update since it's been out and I've never had the problem. The ONLY thing I have recently downloaded is the Python command line for programming. Is this effecting Action or is it just broke for me? And a fast response would be great seeing how I'm supposed to record in a few hours with some friends.
