Audio very quiet

Sun Mar 10, 2013 12:22 am

I've bought Action, and I love it. However, when I record, I just seem to have the same issue, that my sound is very quiet, both from my microphone and from my computer. Microphone is set to 100%, and it's a 50/50 split for system audio/microphone. I have it set up like this so it records both my voice in Mumble, as well as other people's. However, the overall volume level is very low. Is there any way to fix this within Action, I don't want to always have to import this into Vegas to do this small edit.

If i record a video my mic is very quiet too even if i set it in the option to 100 and the audio balance to 99 and 1 for the game sound (see pic below) still the mic is so quit, that it cant be heard on the recorded video,in other recording softwares the mic's sound is good, i tried to boost it to the max in the windows options mic boots+30db and with signal level 100.
the game sound is at normal level despite the settings

It must be your mic or system... I'm using a USB microphone, and I sound *louder* than I was with FRAPS. Makes you wonder...

The funny thing is that every sound recording program i try, ts3-s sound recording(mumble), or the windows built in sound recorder they pick up my voice normali/good tried with different mic multiple options(+30db gain 100percent signal level), only action makes my mic very quiet even with the audio balance,i think action makes the system sound always a hihger priority despite the sound balance tried it with no games/music playing only desktop rec the mic was quiet, like action only picks up the unboosted "raw" sounds from the mic
i will try it again with the usb sound card, with this audio balance features
thanks for the tip
few ideas to add action : echo cancellation, background noise cancallation, accustis echo cancellation ,features like in teamspaek, and others, i found that out my voice is quiet because the mic picks's up the noises and action records them louder then my voice,as long as teamspeak, and other programs filter them, so only my voice stays with little background noise and echo.

Have the same problem. Using Steelseries V2 Headset. Other programs pick up audio jsut fine, have problems only with Action!
