Recording with Action for Warcraft 3

I've been using action for less than a week and it records games like Starcraft 2 and Shadowrun Returns fine. When I attempt to use it with Warcraft 3, the HUD bar does not appear in the top right. I tried clicking F9 to record anyways but it does not function. I've tried some older games like Half Life one and Action works. Any ideas why Warcraft 3 doesn't work with Action? Thanks in advance.

W3 use DirectX8.1. Action! supports only games that use DX9 or higher.
