Does not start fully on Windows 8

Hello,

I wanted to buy Action, but I am glad, I tested it first. Only directly after the first installation, Action worked.

Since then it does not work at all: I start Action, the start screen (with the comic man) appears, but the software does not start vully (the normal interface never appears).

No matter if I deinstall the software or not, it does not work.

Why is there no fix for this?

Have you checked if Action is not in your system tray? Does any Action process appear in your Task Manager?

I ran into this problem today when I was away from my usual internet. It seems Action gets stuck on the splash screen if there is no internet connection? Hope they fix that.

Have you tried disable your firewall?

I think the point is that this software should be 100% usable without requiring an active internet connection. There are tons of times I might want to use it where I don't have internet.

So this only occurs when your internet connection is not on?

I was at a public wifi location and tried to start Action before I had gone on my web browser to get authorized for the wifi connection, and the Action splash screen was just hung there, I could not get rid of it to even see my web browser. I had to go to task manager and kill Action.

I had the problem with Action hanging on the Splash screen upon start-up I'm using windows 8 so I adjusted these settings, setting it to run it under windows 7 compatibility and it runs perfectly now
