Extracting / using the microphone track

Thu Oct 17, 2013 3:26 pm

Okay, so recording into seperate audio track. I can hear it when I press A when playing it in the Action! player, and after installing the ac3 filter it playes in media player. How do I access that audio track in a video editing software I have premiere pro, and I couldnt access it, I even tried lightworks and a trial of CyberLink PowerDirector.

It cant see or hear it in those. I want to get a seperate audio track for more controle over my videos for youtube. I used audacity to record audio for a while. But sync is off some times.

Not all video editing software support multiple audio tracks. As far as I know Sony Vegas does. You can always extract your second track to a separate audio file with VirtualDub for example. It's free and it usually take less than minute to export it.

Okay, thanks.
Primiere Pro supports multiple audio tracks but none of them are the microphone. I might give it a go with virtual dub. Would be nice not having to worry about syncing gameplay with audio but i will prob just stick with recording audio in audacity. Wish it was easier with the seperate microphone.

Will give your program a go. I just dont understand why that perticular audio is "hidden". When I enable multiple audio tracks I get the surround sound is effects with a lot of audio tracks. But no microphone.
