Sony Vegas Import. Building Peaks

Fri Dec 13, 2013 2:24 am

Hi all.-.

Recently started using Action to record my games, been using Dxtory and wanted to find alternatives that improved video quality and didnt use all my diskspace. (Shadowplay from NVIDIA is great, but doesnt make a separate audio channel for mic)

So all is going well untill i import the video to my Sony Vegas. It takes ages when building the peaks in the audio channels.

I am using a dedicated 7.1 soundcard, is the software perhaps recording ay 7.1? dunno, i am a noob at this. DXTORY videos (Lagarith codec) are quick to import, Action videos take ages too... Any tips?

Thanks.

Please check if you have selected "Record multi-channel audio" in Action. If yes, uncheck it. Sony Vegas does not support multi-channel audio tracks.

I have the same thing, It takes ages to build the peaks. There's nothing wrong with the audio, it's just that you have to wait a while for it to build the peaks before you can start editing properly.
