How to make filesize smaller

Hello guys,
Im newly starting to record my gameplay for a youtube channel but the recordings are way too big like in Gigabytes.
How to I make them smaller so i can upload and store them easily?

What fps are you running? The bigger the fps the bigger the filesize.
