Auto-stop/resume recording when screensaver kicks in?

Is there any way to do this for desktop recording, or could it be added as a feature? Would be really handy for long desktop recording sessions.

It would probably be easier to just implement an option to Disable Screensaver While Recording, but even then... Do you typically leave your computer for long periods of time while recording? If I knew I was going to get up from the machine for that long, I'd stop recording because: 1) It's a waste of disk space, and 2) during post-production I now have to remove all this "empty" footage where nothing is happening and it's just a waste of my time.

I often record the desktop all day long, so having it auto-start and stop would be useful.

I'm not sure but probably your aero, desktop or resolution is changing when your SS is turning on so the video recording would simply stop.
