Just purchased Mirillis Action! Now I can't open recordings

Fri Aug 23, 2013 12:03 am

A couple of days ago I downloaded the trial version of Mirillis Action! and was amazed. It was easy to use, had a smooth framerate while recording, and the video quality was perfect. So earlier today I decided to purchase the full home version. I used a special link from a Youtuber by the name of GassyMexican (here's his video review, "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-hNch0cdkE" the link's in the description) that game me about $5 off the purchase. So upon purchasing it and using the activation key on my Action! trial, it informed me that I had unlocked the full version. Now my problem. An hour or so later after unlocking it, I decided to record a game of Smite to test out how the videos look without the watermark. After I stopped recording and went to view it, the video doesn't have a thumbnail and it wouldn't play, stating that it cannot view output file. If anyone can help me figure this out I would greatly appreciate it, I really love this product and I sort of hope it's something on my part and I didn't just waste $25. Thank you!

How did you end your video? With your hotkey or somehow different?

I had hit the hot-key, the first video i made had a duration time on it so I thought that ending it before the duration time would've triggered some error. I ended up fixing the problem so I apologize for being so hasty with my response. There was some issue with my Hard Drive that my computer found and auto fixed. I want to thank you for such a fast response time on the matter. I really do enjoy this program and I'm glad to see the Mirillis team is as involved as they are.

Hello

This is Sathish. I have the exact same problem. I just upgraded from trial to full version. Earlier I got the error asking to change my recording folder. So I changed it and then that error does not appear. But since I upgraded to the full version I am able to record videos but I am not able to click the thumbnail and see the video at all. It is very frustrating. Please help me out !!!
