Unable to record webcam alone

How ya'll doing people!

In Action's hotkey list there's an option to record webcam right? Isn't this supposed to be like recording webcam itself without anything else? Or have i misunderstood the meaning of it? I can normally record it along game videos as a facecam on demand. But for whatever reason the "webcam" binding doesn't work at all. I tried it with different keys and turning my webcam on and off, everything i could think of. Nothing worked.

Is the "webcam" option ignoring my key or is it meant for somehing else?

This feature allows you to add your webcam video directly into your recorded video.

Do u mean like basically combining 2 seperate videos (webcam and desktop/game/whatever)? If so, my webcam option doesn't work at all. I enable the hotkey and F4 and nothing happens.

Your webcam stream will be captured and added to the final video. As for your issue. Please post your screenshot of the Action! webcam settings.

I wasn't talking about using it as a facecam within other videos.

I meant the webcam alone:



Yes it's unchecked, i know.

I have my mic binded on the same hotkey if that's got to do anything with it:



Right now, i've disabled facecam addition from my vids:



Oh and that display format, i forgot about it, it doesn't change the aspect ratio of it whether it's checked or unchecked. I'll add screens about that too if needed.

Right now, what i mean is why i can't record webcam alone? I'm not talking about doing facecams in other videos. I'm wondering why my webcam function doesn't work.

Claunator, they don't currently have this feature available yet. I would also like it eventually. I posted briefly on this subject and radi (mirillis staff) replied.
