PC Specification: i7 4790, asus r9 290, windows 8.1

Sims 4 Action crashes after stop recording.

I have just been attempting to record sims 4 gameplay and while it seemed fine to record a video of less than a minute, it crashes if I record around 30 minutes. I have tried recording in normal window and maximized mode but to no avail. Any idea? thanks, Dan
https://www.youtube.com/user/DeadpanDan1 to see the videos that worked fine with no settings altered. It just seems to be sims 4?

Did you record into AVI or MP4 format? Screen mode or Game mode?
