Action! 1.19.2.0 can't use CUDA for encoding

Thu Oct 23, 2014 5:10 pm

Hello,
I have been using Action! a long time now. I have never had this problem before and I'm not sure if it's the latest version of Action! or possibly the latest NVIDIA drivers (or both) that could be causing this problem.

Under Export Settings, the check box and drop down menu for "Use hardware acceleration for video encoding" is greyed out and I cannot enable it.

I computer has the following hardware installed: Intel i7-4960X, 32GB 2133MHz Memory, (4x) EVGA GTX580 (4-Way SLI)

In the past I have always been able to use CUDA for video encoding, but for some reason now, it's not available. Is this a known problem? Is there a fix for this?
I will attach a screen capture of the Export Settings showing the option is not available.

Thank you!

CUDA support has been removed in recent Nvidia drivers. If you would like to use it please reverse to your previous driver version.

In upcoming updates we are going to replace the CUDA with NVENC hardware acceleration.
