Action shows launcher then freezes

Mon Oct 13, 2014 10:15 pm

I bought Action today and went to download and install It. As I launch it up the logo comes up and then it freezes.

I have tried. (keep in mind I do not know much about this type of thing)
uninstalling reinstalling
uninstalling going to regedit>user>software>mirillis>deleting it there restarting my computer and reinstalling it

there are other posts about this put since my computer is windows 8 when the Mirillis team member links the mirills@support when I go to click on it it just says that I don't have that app in the store

Yeah, I used to have this issue a while back.

Move all your videos to a different folder and start up Action! and change to the new folder. That has been the fix for me 4/4 times.

I believe it happens if the PC crashes during a recording and Action! prioritizes it's own shutdown rather than cutting the recording off. Mostly this would just result in a corrupted video file, but it has a chance to corrupt the entire folder.

Do you experience any error message or it just hangs on loading screen?

As people with these problems seem to be really bad at staying on the forum to fix this. I also have this problem. The thing doesnt crash, it just hangs on the title thing.
