Horrible quality in videos

So i recently started recording with mirillis action! Because i heard it was the best. When i record in 720P or even 1080P i get horrible quality. I use AVI for the file type, i have no webcam, and i have record mic into a extra track on. My monitor resolution is 1600 x 900. Video card is a r9 270. I have a AMD FX-8320 for CPU. I get no framerate problems. The raw video is horrible quality after recording sony vegas makes it a little better. I would get better quality with fraps or bandicam. If there is any fix to this that would be great because i would like to get this "Crystal clear" video everyone says mirillis action! records. Thanks
