My microphone not working

Intel Xeon CPU E3-1230 v3 @3.30 GHz
16 GB ram
resolution: 1280X720
I forgot what graphics card but i can assure you that it is good. and it's an NVIDIA
Editing software: adobe premiere pro
game: every game

it's on "always on" but for some reason it just doesn't pick up my microphone recording. It's coming to the point where i have to record with audacity instead. please any help would really save me alot of work. Thanks!

Ur editing software itself is the problem. As far as i know, Premiere Pro does not support multiple sound tracks and thus won't include ur mic.

sorry i resolved my own issue. in the playback it wasn't showing up and in adobe premiere it wasn't showing up because i have multi tracks but it sony vegas it was there perfectly. my bad.
