Microphone won't NOT record

I'm having issues with the most current version of Action! (1.22.0.0) when trying to record some gameplay, namely that I cannot get Action! to stop recording my microphone. I've checked by the Video and Audio tabs microphone settings to "Do not record", and yet inevitably when I play back the video it has picked up my microphone.

Anyone else having this issue?

Something close to it. I have O-key set up as record microphone key. O is also show clock key in arma3. So every time you see clock on the video you should hear my voice and only then.

How hard can it be? Fraps can do it right. Why can't action!?

I've done another little test and even when the microphone is set to 'record on button down (on/off)' (which defaults to F4) I still can't stop the microphone recording onto the video track. When I press F4 the small microphone symbol will appear and disappear, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
