Action forcing MP4 and 640x480

Ever since the latest update to Action, my video quality has dropped even though all my settings remain the same. I have the file format set to AVI and the Video size set to 720p. However, after I finish recording, the video outputs itself as mp4, and its resolution is 640x480, for no apprent reason :/ This is getting really annoying as all my videos now look terrible in comparison to all the others. Does anyone know why this might be and how to fix it?

Aditional notes: The game resolution is always 720p or higher, and my video quality in action is set to high, also the bitrate is 100%.

RAM: 8GB
GPU: AMD Radeon R7
