No Desktop recording+Video size is not changing

Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 970 (Zotac)
Memory: 16 GB
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Video Editor: Magix Video Deluxe 2015 Premium
Game Problem: Minecraft, Far Cry 4
Video Type: AVI

Since the 1.23.0.0 update, I am not able to record the desktop anymore. Active Desktop Region also doesn't work. Only screenshots are possible. I have Aero ON and installed the latest Nvidia drivers (347.52)
Also, since that update, I seem to not be able to record Far Cry 4 anymore, maybe some other games, too, but I didn't test it yet.
Just a small bug: the HUD seems to always start at the bottom left (Minecraft). I can change it with the key-combinations, but my default setting is getting ignored.
Another problem which I have (also before the update) is that I can not change the Video size...well I can change it in the programm itself, but the video file after that doesn't change. That happens in Minecraft only. The only way I can change that is, by changing the video size in Minecraft itself (which is only possible when using the mod "optifine"), but then the game only uses half of my screen, even tho Im in Fullscreen mode, but I'd still like to play in 1080p and record in 720p to reduce performance while using a shader mod.

hello, I have the same problem, I put 720p output format avi and it saved in MP4 800 x 400 depuid the 1.23.0 release, thank you kindly answer thank you

EDIT > by turning off the recording function lives in avi and again possible.
when the lives and enable function is the parameter that determines the lives of dimention in the same video

I think there were, since I installed the programm, always problems with the ficv.reg files. The 32-bit one to be accurate (ficvdec_x86.reg), but as it doesn't have any problems with the 64-bit one, and I do have a 64-bit Windows, I ignored that and it didn't seem to be any problem. On every update which I made, also this one and I think also the main-installation itself, there was always an error message saying it couldn't install the above named .reg, but as said, I just clicked on the "ignore" button and it didn't seem to be any problem.

Pretty much all of the problems, but the 720p Minecraft one, are fixed with the new 1.24 update. It didn't show the error message this time, too.
