Hello , I'm Alex and I recently purchased Mirillis Action with the intent of recording in 120 fps. I decided to buy Action after watching other people record in 120 fps, so I know that it is possible. As many other people have encountered, there are problems with using 120 fps to record. When playing back the footage, random parts of the video have been cut, making the video look like it is constantly skipping. I know that it is not a problem with my machine not being capable of replaying 120 frames, because I have done so before with other recordings. I know the Action video player does not support 120 fps, but I have tried it with VLC and other video playback programs. The small, but constant cuts/skips in the video are not playback errors; the"cut" sections are just completely gone from the video. I recorded 120 fps with my game running at 300 and all the Action settings were maxed out.

I have reported this to support@mirillis.com, but I was hoping to get a larger range of replies here on the forums. Mirillis's support hours do not begin for two more days so hopefully I will get a faster response here.

Most of video players does not support smooth 120fps video playback. Does your video skip parts after it has been rendered?

Thanks for asking; I didn't try to render it before. It works after it is rendered, but it is almost impossible to edit the video without smooth playback.

Have you tried lowering the playback quality/performance?
