Slowdown after exporting

OS: Windows 8.1
Video Card: Nividia GeForce 770M
Memory: 16 GB
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Video Editor: None
Game Problem: Phantasy Star Universe
Video Type: AVI

Hey there. So I'm recording video for the first time, using a relatively old game as a test subject. While recording the game, I have no lag or anything. When viewing videos in Action!, they seem normal. However after I export them, the videos seem choppy, laggy, slow, whatever you want to call them. The audio even seemed slightly out of sync at times, although I'm not sure if it was the video I recorded or just the mediocre voice acting in the game itself throwing me off, haha. Any ideas?

edit: At the very least, I would like to know if whatever problem is occurring is strictly during the exporting process. Meaning that since the videos are fine before being exported, I can continue recording at least.
