Perfect AVI Recording - When?

I have to say, like the main page says, this is one of the greatest recording programs to date on the web and yet it has alot of problems. Most of them aren't enough to ruin the experience but one in particular is. AVI Recording. Since the program was first made the problem with recording AVI has always been around. Even with the newest 1.25.3 version AVI recording is always a gamble, from freeze-ups, corruption, video skipping, and slowdowns it makes doing something that is your job or even as a hobby impossible because you never know when the recorder will ruin the recording. MP4 is great and bug-free but the quality is nothing compared to AVI. Almost every other recorder does not have the problem with AVI that Action! does yet Action! is still a way better program than anything out right now.

I have to ask for myself and the community, when will we get to a point where AVI recording will be perfect meaning the problems mention above will be fixed completely. Don't get me wrong some of these new features that are added are great and all but could you take an entire update and just fix the bugs that occur when recording with AVI. Maybe add a feature to allocate more memory to Action! so that it won't run out of memory or find some fix that will stop these problems from occurring.

I'm not complaining as this program is still great but I haven't been able to record anything recently because the recorder always finds some way to ruin the videos I work so hard to make. I just need honest assurance that this is being worked on and that maybe in the next update we can get a fix for this or if there is a temporary fix then please feel free to let me know.

I hope you can find a way to fix this and I'm sure alot of people are feeling the same way.

Nope even with 1.25.5 I still lose an average of 12 minutes of footage and no one has replied to this. Great just great.
