Locked at 15fps when recording Minecraft

I just downloaded Action and it has everything I ever wanted in a screen capturing software. There is one problem though, and it only happens when recording Minecraft. My fps immediately drops (when recording) to around 15fps and stays there for the entire length of the recording. This only happens in Minecraft, and it only happens when using the "Games and Applications" recording option. For example I can use the "Active Desktop Region" to record Minecraft and it records at 60fps. I only have problems when recording directly from the game. I'm not sure what would be causing the problem so I'm not sure if this info will help or not but, I'm running a windows 10 laptop with 16gigs of ram, intel core i7, and Nvidia Geforce GTX.
